Deric Corwin - VP Client Services. Cogito

Deric brings more than a decade of experience leading technology-based innovation to Cogito, where he is responsible for overseeing successful delivery of commercial engagements. Prior to joining Cogito, Deric managed cross-functional teams at American Well to launch online telehealth solutions with health care and government clients. His background also includes roles at Monitor Group, Crimson Hexagon, Symantec, and Digital Equipment, leading client advisory projects across a mix of strategy, technology, and marketing topics, developing complex web-based decision-support systems, and facilitating interactive workshops and training. Deric received his M.B.A. from MIT Sloan where he won the Patrick J. McGovern Entrepreneurship Award. He also earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dartmouth College.

Lei Ding - Manager of Data Science, PayPal

Dr. Lei Ding leads the Data Science group for Marketing, Growth and Demand Generation at PayPal. In this role, he is responsible for the design, architecture, development, and quality of systems that operationalize data science at scale. Before, he led Data Science at Intent Media, an advertising startup headquartered in New York. He contributed significantly to online predictive systems that served millions of visitors each day on a number of premium e-commerce websites. Earlier in his career, he conducted applied R&D at several leading research labs including IBM Watson Lab. He received a PhD degree from Ohio State, and studied management at Stanford.

Michael Morris - GM of TopCoder

Joining TopCoder Software in 2002 as Vice President of Software Development, Michael P. Morris brings more than a decade of technology experience across vertical markets with diverse clients including AOL, Disney, ESPN, PayPal and Verisign among others. His proven expertise in disciplines such as Component Based Development and Mobile Web services have earned him industry recognition and conference speaking engagements.

Formerly, Morris was director of design and development for Tallán, where he successfully managed projects for companies such as Barnes & Noble, eBay, Bertlesmann and Loudeye. He was previously a project manager and consultant with Tallán as well. Prior to Tallán, Morris served as software programmer for Invensys, a developer of process automation and resource tracking software.
